Victoria + Danny || Engagement Session || Lee Martinez Park, Colorado

I absolutely love getting to photograph engagements, especially when doggies are involved. Victoria and Danny had LITERALLY just adopted a second pooch hours before their engagement session, so we got to document the first afternoon of their new family of four. The doggies did great together, and after some family photos, we had a lovely laid-back couple's session before they all headed back to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where they live.

We are so excited for their wedding this fall, which will be in Steamboat, too, and loved the beautiful blossoms they had for their engagement session this summer in Fort Collins. It's rare that the blossoms stay on the trees very long here, as there is usually a snow storm, or hail, or something that stunts the blooms, or breaks all the branches as soon as they've blossomed- but not this year! We had several long, beautiful weeks of fluffy blossoms, and we loved taking advantage of that for this engagement backdrop. Yay for beautiful flowers at our Colorado engagement session location!
